The rumor that Bruno Mars will be playing Prince in a biopic is reportedly false.

According to the Chicago Tribune, a representative for Bruno Mars says Bruno portraying Prince in a new movie is "100 percent false."

The Daily Mirror originally reported that the biopic would also air on Netflix but they've confirmed there is no film in development.
