Jamie Foxx has a new TBS comedy series

Jamie Foxx's relationship with his daughter is inspiring a TBS comedy series.
Produced by Foxx and Jaime King, the scripted series titled "Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me," explores the relationship between an overly involved father and his child. Apart from production duties, the "Django Unchained" star is teaming up with comedy writer Marsh McCall to pen the series. McCall is known for his work on the sitcoms "Last Man Standing" and "Just Shoot Me." According to a press release, the series is still in the development stages.

Last month, Foxx signed on to produce a five part horror series with the Syfy channel. According to Deadline.com, that series is slated to air this October during Syfy's annual "31 Days of Halloween" marathon.
