Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin asks for prayers

The queen of Soul Aretha Franklin asks for you prayers.

Over the summer Aretha cancelled a number of shows due to an undisclosed health concern. This week she has issued an update  branding her recovery “absolutely miraculous.”

In an update released to the Associated Press, Franklin says her recovery has amazed her doctors and she hopes to be back at work soon.

“My treatments are going very well,” she stated. “My last Cat scan,  everyone who sees this says that this is miraculous, absolutely miraculous…

“I was talking to Smokey Robinson, my oldest best friend Smokey, talking about the fact that some doctors are not very well acquainted with faith healing. And Smokey said, ‘Well, they just don’t know who your healer is.’”
