R.I.P. Phife Dawg of Tribe Called Quest...Dead at 45


Phife Dawg, a member of Hip Hop Group Tribe Called Quest died early Wednesday morning at the age of 45. Phife battled diabetes during the latter stages of his life and toured with the group during various reunited shows to help pay for the medical bills. He was quoted as saying

"Even though I knew I had [diabetes], I was in denial," Taylor said in the documentary (Beats, Rhymes and Life). "I had to have my sugar. You have to accept it. If you don't accept it, it's going to kick your ass."
