In her autobiography "Tina Turner: My Love Story," Tina Turner reveals she had a kidney transplant from her husband.

Turner was suffering from kidney disease with her kidneys functioning at just 20 percent.

She says her husband shocked her by saying "he wanted to give me one of his kidneys." 

Tina Turner accepted her husband's kidney in 2016.
