Just as we're all trying to come to grips with a pandemic, a giant Asian insect called the Asian Hornet was found in the northwestern United States.
The dead Asian giant hornet was photographed in a lab on December 30, 2019 by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
The world's largest hornet, a 2-inch killer with an appetite for honey bees dubbed, the "Murder Hornet" has a sting that could be fatal to some humans.
Scientists are making plans to eradicate them.
