Two Men Charged in the 2002 Killing of Run-DMC DJ JAM MASTER JAY
A federal grand jury has indicted two men in the long-unsolved murder of Jam Master Jay, the pioneering DJ of Run-DMC who was killed in 2002, prosecutors said Monday.
The Pioneering Hip Hop DJ Jam Master Jay of the group RUN-DMC, finally has justice in his killing some 18 years after his death. He was fatally shot at a recording studio in Jamaica Queens New York at the age of 37. The US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York made the indictment that Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington conspired to kill Jam Master Jay in retaliation for an alleged drug dispute. The attorney said although it has taken awhile, they had never given up on solving the murder.
