The Library of Congress Adds Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 To...

Janet Jackson's classic 1989 album "Rhythm Nation 1814" has been officially preserved as an "audio treasure" by the Library of Congress.

The album was selected among 25 recordings added to the National Recording Registry chosen for their "cultural, historical, or aesthetic importance." 


Other artists whose works were added to the registry include Louis Armstrong, Nas, Labelle, & more.
